My girlfriend wants to go to school to become a deep sea explorer. How many years of schooling does that take?

How long would she have to be in school to get the best job?

Answer :
THeres no Deep Sea Expolorer Major
you prolly need to study OCeanography
and also a few other disciplines
such as biology and scuba
and sailing and all type of other stuff
best is to MEET an actual diver
and find out what their resume consists of
you will find they prolly have 20+ yrs of trsaining and schooling

Answer :
Actually, she can earn a bachelors in zoology in four years. That is all she would need if the right opportunities came around. A masters degree would be two additional years, and it may or may not bring the opportunity for a better or more desireable job. Sounds like fun.

Is the food good on the Explorer of the seas?

like do they have a variety and is it free?

Answer :
No, the food on the Explorer isn't good, it's AMAZING!
I recently got off the Explorer at the beginning of April, and let me say, that was my 14th cruise, and definitely my favorite. Want to know what made it better than all the others? The food! The Windjammer is the ship's buffet open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also open for "afternoon tea" or basically just afternoon snacks. It has anything you can possibly imagine. There's so much food you will walk around the whole place and not have any more room left in your stomach to eat it all.

The 3 story dining room has the most amazing food that I've ever eaten. Every single night there are things on the menu that you can't decide between. There are certain things that are on the menu every night in case you don't like the special, but that's not going to happen. I am the pickiest eater in the world and I always liked something on the menu. Every night, they have serloin steak, some form of a chicken meal, caesar salad, and more. The dining room is also open for breakfast, dinner, and sometimes lunch, and is also free.

There is a specialty restaurant, Portofino's which doesn't have an adjective strong enough to describe how amazing the food there is. It is open for dinner only and have a cover fee of $20 per person.

There is a Johnny Rocket's onboard which is just amazing. The food is awesome. I went there 3 times on my cruise, always ordered something different, and always liked it. It is open for lunch and dinner, and has a cover fee of $3.50 per person.

There also is a frozen yogurt/ice cream machine that you are open to whenever you want. There's vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and you can mix whichever flavors you want. It's obviously free.

Now the promenade on this ship is just amazing. There's a cafe which has coffee, cookies, pizza, danishes, and so much more. It's free. Right next to it is a Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream which has great flavors and a variety of different things you can order. There is a fee, but it will depend on what you order.

So you tell me, from I told you, do you think there's a variety of food? haha, I think so.

If you have any further questions, feel free to send me a message.

Hope this helps!!!!! =)

Answer :
Yes the food is free and its great. I have not cruised on the Explorer but have cruised on two of its twin sister ships, the Mariner and the Adventure. The price of your cruise includes all foods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and also free room service. There is one restaurant on the ship called Choppe that has a fee to eat there but its not really necessary because there is fee food other places. Then there is a Johnny Rockets hamburger place that has a fee of $3.95.

The ship has a buffet called the Windjammer Cafe that is open for breakfast (starting about 7:00 AM) and you can get everything from bacon and eggs to cold and hot cereals, fruit, pancakes, danish and about anything that you want. Then at lunch it has soups and salads, sandwiches, and a variety of hot entres. At dinner time the Windjammer has a big variety of dinner selections.

Now the main place for lunch and dinner is Magellan Dining Room; a three-tier dining room featuring a wide variety of menu items and impeccable service. In the main dining room you would have your choice of great food items from hot and cold appetizers, soups, salads, and entres that will include during the week prime rib, steak, fillet mignon, shrimp, baked fishes, pasta dishes, and other specially prepared dishes. Then the menu each day will allow you to order alternatives to the daily special, like baked salmon, grilled chicken or steak.

Then on the promenade mall down the center of the ship there is a place called Cafe Promenade where you can get free food 24/7 including sandwiches and pizza, and desserts.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EAT ALL OF THE GOOD FREE FOOD!!!!
