Wow! Are you talking to the right girl or what? I worked aboard the Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas and we covered the Bahama's. With todays modern technology, the Captain and crew are on top of all weather conditions and will avoid the storms. If you do get the backlash of a storm be assured that you are in a huge vessel and any rocking and rolling almost feels like slow rocking side to side. The ship passes out free "sea sick pills" to everyone wanting them. The typical storms come later in the summer towards September so I think you won't have any worries anyway. If you are concerned, here is the best tip: Try to book the cabin that is is the center of the ship. If the ship is 14 decks high, book on the 7th deck and then find a cabin in the center of the ship from front to back (bow to stern) If there are 100 cabins from the front of the ship to the end, pick the 50th cabin in the middle. Everything you select is the MIDDLE. This ratio cuts down the amount of motion you will receive. Also, having a window (Oceanview or Balcony) is sometimes helpful so you can "see the horizon". In spending nearly a year on various ships crusing the Bahamas and Carribbean, I have never been seasick based on these rules and the rough seas are minimal. The entire crew is well trained on safety and rescue including everyone down to your dishwasher. I say don't worry about it and go have a wonderful time. Think about all the exciting things you will be doing and don't focus on crazy stuff. It's safer than flying.

Depends on the weather...as long as you don't run into any bad storms, should be fine. You always take a chance when traveling those waters during hurricane season (which is why I only cruise the gulf/caribbean in the winter) ☺
